I think I can, I think I can!

For the past 2 years, before my birthday, i’ve decided to read a specific author. The goal was to read all the novels by that particular author before i turned that upcoming age.
The first year was Jane Austen, I read her 6 Novels plus a few “extras”. The next year was a little bit more of a challenge. I read the Brontë sisters, they only have 7 novels between the 3 of them but, it took me much longer.

This will be my third year and it’s going to be much, much harder!
I couldn’t decide which one author I wanted to read. I’ve narrowed it down to Charles Dickens, George Eliot, and Elizabeth Gaskell. I think, if possible, I might try to read them all. It will be hard to find copies of all their novels, though!
Dickens’ has 21 novels, Eliot has 7, and Gaskell has 6. You can see the full list HERE I will be updating this list frequently!

I have to admit, I am scared of Dickens! I really want to read him, but I am seriously intimidated. Each of the others i’ve seen movie adaptions of their works and enjoyed them (is that considered cheating?)

I’m starting earlier than i have before. Usually I start around the beginning of June, but this year I started at the end of April. Hopefully I’ll make it and enjoy their books!

Wow! that is a lot of books…. (and on top of all the reviews you’re doing??!!) I’m impressed… 🙂 Let me know how the Gaskell books are, where did you find them? they didn’t have N&S or W&D at either of the libraries I looked at. Speaking of N&S…. I really should watch it again 🙂 Want to come over and watch with me?? 🙂
